Promoting cooperation, mutual understanding, and shared learning among the many faiths of St. Albans
Join us on 13 November at St Albans District Council!
Religious Education is more important than ever – we’re committed to high quality authentic content for our local schools
As a group not only are we organising school visitors to represent local faith communities, we’re also compiling resources that schools can use
St Albans – city of faith
As a pilgrimage city for two millennia and as a centre of religious life – there’s no where better to demonstrate what serious multi faith engagement looks like for the modern world
Learning together
Key to our work is the desire to help anyone interested to learn about faith. To that end, we publish a podcast, “A” Is for Abraham as well as resources here on our site
“Real dialogue is where two or more people become willing to suspend their certainty in each other’s presence.”
— David Bohm
Jews and Muslims Refuse to Be Enemies
Following the beginning of the Israel-Gaza war in November 2023, one of the first things ever published under the moniker of SAIL was a letter entitled ‘Jews and Muslims Refuse to Be Enemies’, signed by all the faith leaders of Jewish and Muslim St Albans communities, endorsed by our MP, Daisy Cooper, and sent to every school in the district. You can read it here.
